I was riding with Larry Key on the way to visit a prison, when Larry said I and my wife had put together a duffel bag of stuff: food, socks, pots, pans, Bibles, and Tracts. We began looking for a homeless person. We saw a man but he was in a hard place to get to from our position. So I took the bag and ran across the interstate to get to the person. Larry has since given out over a thousand and seen many decisions for Christ. We met people from all over the US. He calls this part “Homeless but not Hopeless”. In Florida and other places we have visited Homeless Tent areas and encountered ex-military people and highly educated, but we just love them and Larry Key continues to give out Bags of Love. One night about 12:30am we stopped under a bridge where homeless were known to sleep. We could not see in the dark but we called “Does anyone need food?” and a voice came back “Do you have any socks?” Men always want socks. Larry works in Juvenile Prisons with Rock of Ages Prison Ministries but Brother Larry saw a need and many have now called upon the Lord. Amen. Brother Larry drives all over the Eastern United States. It is a privilege to get to go with Larry from time to time.
