I was invited to go to Kentucky with about 30 others the week before Easter. We took hundreds of shoeboxes filled with stuff for children. We were able to talk to the children and teachers in many schools. We are collecting shoeboxes to go back as soon as we can to go through this open door. The children were the most respectful and well behaved I have ever seen. One child received a box without a toy in it. It had just been over-looked but one of our team saw it and took her another box. The girl was so grateful for anything she received and so were all the children.

Please pray and consider preparing as many shoeboxes as you can. Sunday school, VBS, Youth groups and adult classes can put together these boxes as well as any individuals or families. You can contact Dean Crane: (336) 972-2371 for where to drop off or pick up the shoeboxes.
